The sixth doctoral seminar on European Law

Friday January 20th, 2017
The sixth doctoral seminar on European Law organised by Marianne Dony, within the framework of her Jean Monnet Chair in European Union law, will be held from 30 August to 1 September 2017, at the Institute for European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

This interuniversity and international seminar aims to promote exchanges between researchers and universities. More specifically, it seeks to provide the opportunity to fifteen doctoral students to both communicate and compare the progress of their works to the expertise of several visiting professors in order to improve their methodological approach and to share their various experiences regarding the particular difficulties that they may encounter during their research. Subsistence expenses of the participants will be supported by the Institute for European Studies. The working languages are English and French.

Prospective PhD students are invited to submit to Ms Dony (marianne.dony@ulb.ac.be), by 19 March 2017, a CV and a draft summary of maximum 3 pages that will contain the title of their thesis, the current status of their research and the chosen methodological approach.

Further information can also be obtained by sending an email to Ms Dony.
