Emmanuelle Bribosia and Philippe De Bruycker sign 14 Principles of Protection

800 leaders and scholars, among which Emmanuelle Bribosia (ULB, Vice-President of the Institute for European Studies) and Philippe De Bruycker (ULB, founder and coordinator of Odysseus Academic Network) signed the 14 Principles of Protection. From health and mobility to non-discrimination and privacy, governments must follow these 14 Principles to protect the human rights of migrants, refugees, and other displaced persons during the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath.

This effort was coordinated by Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, Cornell Law School’s Migration and Human Rights Program, and The New School’s Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility.

800 dirigeants et académiques, parmi lesquels Emmanuelle Bribosia (ULB, Vice-présidente de l’Institut d’études européennes) et Philippe De Bruycker (ULB, fondateur et coordinateur du Réseau Odysseus), ont signé les 14 Principes de protection (14 Principles of Protection). De la santé et de la mobilité à la non-discrimination et à la protection de la vie privée, les gouvernements doivent suivre ces 14 principes pour protéger les droits humains des migrant·e·s, des réfugié·e·s et des autres personnes déplacées pendant la pandémie COVID-19 et ses conséquences.

Cet effort a été coordonné par la Mailman School of Public Health de l’Université de Columbia, le programme de migration et de droits de l’homme de la Cornell Law School et l’Institut Zolberg sur la migration et la mobilité de la New School.
