CDE’s Louise Fromont and Arnaud Van Waeyenberge are organising a Consolidation Citizen Forum entitled « Innovative Economic Governance Practices and 21st Century Liberal Democracy » next 10 September at Le Château HEC Paris (78350 Jouy-en-Josas)!
This important conference will delve into the European Union’s innovative use of economic and budgetary mechanisms—like the Recovery and Resilience Facility, Conditionality Regulation 2020/2092, and the European Semester—as tools to ensure rule of law compliance and promote liberal democracy across Member States.
This forum will bring together citizens, researchers, experts, EU and Member State representatives, and civic leaders to discuss how economic governance can reinforce European Values. Topics will include: equality and non-discrimination, solidarity, justice and democracy.
