DESCRIPTION:The European Criminal Law Academic Network (ECLAN) is pleased to announce the 19th edition of the ECLAN Summer School on “The EU Area of Criminal Justice” to be held from 3 to 7 July 2023\, in Brussels (Institut d’études européens\, ULB). \nThis year\, the Summer School is back with a renewed programme\, particularly attentive to ensuring that all topics are addressed from complementary angles\, and aimed at complementing the academic perspective with that of practitioners at EU and national level. \nIn particular\, this year’s Summer School will be centred on the wider and ever-increasing role of EU actors in criminal law\, analysed from different angles in order to provide a well-rounded understanding of the complexities of this evolving field. \nAlso the evening conference will be devoted to a new\, pressing issue attracting unprecedented developments in EU criminal law: the role of EU actors in the fight against core international crimes. \nTo register\, please send an email with your CVto eclan.network@gmail.com.\nFor more information and the latest version of the program
