I am a spanish lawyer, currently part of the research Program Dynamint at the Humboldt University of Berlin, where I am pursuing a PhD in European Criminal Law under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Martin Heger. I hold a double degree in Law and Economics from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an LL.M. from the Humboldt University of Berlin in German and European Law (with a focus on criminal law). My interest lies in the crossroads of criminal law and EU Law and particularly in how the European Union is changing the criminal procedure, and the legal challenges this entails . My PhD project concerns the admissibility of cross border evidence, and possible steps towards a common european approach.
